What to Expect
Consultation or scheduling of cases should be made by a clinic/hospital representative. I provide all surgical instrumentation, single-use drapes, gowns, gloves, suture, needles and syringes that I will need to perform the procedure scheduled. I also travel with surgical positioning devices, electrosurgical unit, suction, Ligasure vessel sealing, Storz endoscopic equipment and instrument table that I use as needed for the procedure. I also provide Nocita (72 hour liposomal bupivicaine) for the case. All other medications are administered and or dispensed by your personnel. I do require minimal help opening sterile packs prior to surgery and minor technical assistance during the procedure (opening suture, irrigation, etc). This is typically covered by the veterinarian or technician providing and monitoring anesthesia.
Call, email or text to initiate discussion of prospective cases or schedule surgeries. Once confirmed, I will plan to arrive at your practice at the scheduled time. I will also contact your practice with a “courtesy call” with an accurate arrival time so that pre-anesthetic preparations can begin. Upon arrival I will set up in your surgical room as well as examine the patient, review pertinent radiographs and/or other diagnostic test results. I am also happy to communicate with owners before and after surgery if desired.
Surgical consultations and patient/radiograph evaluation. Video otoscopy, cystoscopy, rhinoscopy services available as well.
*Please contact for discussion of these cases prior to scheduling.
